2D Drawings Converted to 3D Solid Models

The images below show a 2D drawing and a 3D model of that drawing. We can take your old 2D drawings, blueprints, sepias, and hand drawn sketches, and convert them to CAD drawings and 3D models. The solid model can be analyzed to determine it's mass properties such as , volume, center of gravity, surface area, principal axes and principal moments of inertia, and weight.

CAD Drawings

CAD (Computer Aided Design) is a communicating medium used in industry to furnish the information required for manufacturing and assembling products.

Industries are required to follow drafting standards that are approved by the ISO. When these standards are followed, drawings convey the same information to all concerned.

Detail Drawings

Detail drawings furnish the necessary dimensions, materials, finishes, and tolerances (GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2018) that enable a machinist to produce the final product.

Solid Modeling

Solid Models are computer generated data representations of a finished product. These models make product visualization easier for customers to understand than by presenting them with a standard 2D drawing. Solid Model CAD data can also be used to generate CNC code for automating machining operations.
